It’s so easy to set up and the connection does not require WiFi which is amazing. Great quality and the monitor is big enough to see everything. Great night vision.

I have used this brand of baby camera & monitor since I’ve started having my kids which is 5 years now & this monitor is so simple to use and allows me to add multiple cameras to one monitor which helps a lot having multiple kids! I can hear them very well on it even at the lowest volume and gives me great view even in night vision.I wish the battery life lasted a bit longer but I’m not sure how this one compares to other monitors since only using this type. Would recommend this monitor to anyone needing for their children.

I never usually review things but I felt like I needed to on this one. I got this as a baby shower gift about three years ago with my oldest and It still works. I now have two kids and it’s still hanging on! My youngest broke the temperature reader, while my oldest broke the antenna; both off the camera. STILL WORKS. I didn’t think it would last this long but sheesh this thing is durable. I can also move it easy to each room they are in. Night vision is great as well! I have used it almost every single day since my son came. It’s a very easy set up. Definitely got bang for our buck with this one.

The Kidsneed 5" split screen baby monitor when 2 cameras is a nice, affordable entry-level dual camera baby monitor. It has all the features of a basic video baby monitor, but with an additional camera.I felt like the controls were slightly less intuitive than inconvenient than those of a different no-name alphabet soup brand of video baby monitor that I really like, but this system is just as capable.The picture quality is pretty good, with very little lag. Pan/tilt/ zoom controls work very well, if a little inconvenient. The range is also more than adequate to cover anywhere inside your home, and for me that even reached a good distance outside my home. Battery life for the base station is pretty good at several hours, which is plenty of time during your child's nap.There are a couple minor improvements that I would love to see. First, I'd prefer if the cameras and base station had USB-C power connectors on them instead of the more proprietary barrel style connectors. Second, it would be nice at the base station had a dock so you didn't have to unplug and plug it in. Every time you want to move around. This would also prevent the cord from falling on the floor, potentially in a hard-to-reach area.The cameras have 1/4-in 20 TPI threads on the bottom, which are compatible with many different mounts and stands. The cameras also come with quick release plates that you can screw into the wall, allowing you to mount the cameras directly on the wall but also have them easily removable.At $99.99, this is approaching the price of some higher end systems, but for a dual camera system, it is still a pretty good value.

Brought in June and the cords are already messed up when I don’t move them

This monitor is amazing, especially considering the price! The picture quality is perfect and the ability to pan and tilt is so handy and saves so much time since we’re not always using it in the same place. We are grandparents, but the parents have a much more expensive monitor and the picture quality of this set is as good or better than the high dollar one. Set up was a breeze. Being able to do two cameras on the same screen is awesome, but for us, it’s more about being able to leave one camera set up where our granddaughter sleeps at night, and the other where she naps during the day, without having to move it back and forth every day. Definitely a 10/10 value for us!

Pretty good

This baby monitor is one of the better video monitors I've seen. It's very easy to set up and use. The features are also very straightforward and simple to use. Being able to move the lense around to get a different angle of my baby's room is one of my favorite features. Set it up so the view angle covers the most area and then you can move it around from there to see the rest of the room. The night vision works great and is much clearer than ones I've seen. This monitor is worth the money. It is a must have when you have a baby or even a toddler. The picture is very clear. I love being able to talk to my baby or play her a lullaby. I've had this monitor for a few months now and just wanted to get some real use out of it before reviewing. I have not had one single issue with this monitor. Having two cameras is really nice as well especially since you can view both at one time.

I really liked this product, easy to use and very functional, but the battery stopped charging exactly after a year.

Excellent quality cameras. Super simple to set up. Good sound. We got this to keep an eye and ear on our elderly dog when he slips away into a favorite hiding place. Most recently, we used it for several weeks to monitor a family member during recovery from brain surgery. I can't over-stress how easy and straightforward this monitor was to set up, and how well it worked. The camera is terrific and clear. Solidly built. Good quality.

This baby monitor is definitely top of the line! Camera quality is superb. You get two cameras, not just one! It allows you to keep an eye on your little one…and there is no WiFi involved, so no security concerns. In fact, if there IS anything negative I can say, it’s that you have no ability to monitor it when you are away from home like some baby monitors…at least not that I’ve been able to figure out…and I know some parents might not like that. But. It has a long range, for me, since I live in a small apartment that wasn’t a concern for me. Still, it’s nice to know that it has I think 1000 ft range? Awesome! The monitor allows sound too, so you can hear your baby cry or any other noises easily through the monitor. Video quality is great, it’s crystal clear!! Setup was very easy…I literally was able to figure it out and get everything working in maybe 10 minutes once I had everything set where I wanted it. The cameras themselves are tiny, you can probably hide them if you wanted to and no one would ever know they are there. I love that they have the ability to move around, too, so cool! The amount of control you have is just fascinating! All in all, I originally wasn’t sure if this would be worth the cost…but after having used it I must say it is a bargain for the cost…absolutely! Five stars all the way for this product, I highly recommend it! Next time I have to buy a gift for any expectant friends or family, I might just get this exact monitor for them!

I bought this baby monitor mainly so I could keep an eye on my baby while doing things around the house. It comes with two cameras, and the video quality is clear, with color during the day and infrared at night that makes nighttime viewing easy. The screen is large enough to show both angles clearly, and everything feels simple to use. The cameras can rotate and zoom smoothly, and the audio is clear enough that I can talk to my baby through the two-way talk feature from another room. The battery life is solid and lasts a long time on a single charge, so I don’t have to think about charging it all the time. The temperature monitor and lullaby features are thoughtful, especially helpful at bedtime. Overall, it’s been easy to use and reliable. The price is a bit high, but considering the stable signal, clear image, and the fact that it works without internet, I think it’s worth it.

We have had 3 Kidsneed cameras now and have always been impressed with how straightforward, affordable and easy they are to operate. This camera is no exception - very easy to setup and install, with minor modifications to an existing hole in the wall from the previous kidsneed camera.This camera has both a nice resolution (though, arguably 720P is a bit behind in today's camera technology) and a very nice field of view - being able to see around 75% of the room without having to rotate the camera. Having 2 cameras out of the box is very nice - either for multiple rooms or for multiple angles in the same room. All of the cameras and monitor itself use the same USB power adapters which is very nice.Its range is excellent - being able to get signal within 100-200 ft of the room, through multiple walls and floors. Night vision is excellent and automatically adjusts to when the lights are out.The monitor (video) portion of the package is very nice - the screen is nice and big and clear, and the sound monitor bar is nice and smooth indicating various sound levels. Battery life is excellent and has not run out so far.There are only a few negatives to this camera, most of with are personal opinion. Most poignantly not having a replaceable battery. This was a scenario we ran into with our old model Kidsneed camera, but after around 2.5 years the battery was shot - sometimes displaying inconsistent battery level and beeping, sometimes not, and eventually not holding a charge. I would have liked to be able to replace the battery and continue to use the camera, but could not - and this model appears to be the same.My other gripes are about the size of the screws and the wall anchors (oversized wall anchors, dinky screws), as well as power cables that were a bit shorter than I would like (it would be nice to have at least one really long one). Also, the menu could use a bit of work from a UI perspective, but is fine otherwise. None of these impact the performance of the camera though.Highly Recommended!

This Kidsneed camera is the perfect addition to our nursery. Now, Im able to see and hear what my baby is doing when Im not in the room with her. This gives me a peace of mind.Lots of things that I like about this:- night vision is great, can see things very well.-The imaging is good. Its not super clear but it's definitely not grainy and Im able to see everything.-I can zoom in and look all around the room just by clicking a couple of buttons.-signal is great- I can be on the other side of our house and still be connected.-Sound is crisp on both ends.-No application to download- I like that it’s easy to set up/use fresh out the box. All I had to do is plug it up and turn them on!- although it’s not 100% hack proof, it makes me feel better that you don’t need to hook it up to WiFi to use.No cons so far. Works well! I’d recommend.

My son and his significant other are planning to start a family soon, and I’ve already begun preparing a tub filled with baby essentials. This monitor is one of the items they’ll find in the tub, hopefully sooner rather than later.Naturally, I had to test this monitor out. I appreciate that it doesn’t require Wi-Fi connectivity. This is a fantastic feature, as it allows you to take the monitor with you on trips, such as to the RV, a vacation, or Grandma’s house. Additionally, it eliminates the security concerns associated with Wi-Fi, which can be a significant worry when you have a young child. Who wants a hacker monitoring your little one?The only downside to the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity is the absence of an app. You can’t use your tablet or phone to control the monitor. However, I believe this trade-off is worthwhile for the safety of your child.I appreciate that the monitor includes two cameras, with the option to add two more. Personally, I value having two different views of the baby. I also really like the two-way microphone, which allows you to soothe your baby while you’re moving to the crib. Overall, the monitor seems straightforward, and the picture quality is surprisingly clear. Initially, I was concerned about the 720p resolution, considering the high-resolution options available today. However, with a 5-inch screen (which is adequate), I don’t believe the higher resolution is necessary, and it helps keep the price point lower. I’ve seen the cost of some other monitors, which can be double the price of this one. As of October 2025, this monitor is currently priced at $100, which I consider a great value.

The best thing about these cameras is that they are non-Wi-Fi. This means that you can take these cameras camping, outdoors, to a babysitter’s home, or anywhere else that you don’t want to set up Wi-Fi enabled cameras. These are super simple to use. The picture on the monitor is clear and I appreciate that it offers so many different functions such as a two way microphone and lullabies. I think that this product will be durable and last a long time. it seems to be quite high quality. I think it’s a great value for the money, especially because you get two cameras. Because this one is not Wi-Fi enabled, it does not have access to an app, but I think this is a perfect secondary set of cameras.

Picked this up for my son and daughter in law who are expecting, the treated it out today and said it is very nice, has great features.

So I actually replaced my owlette camera with this one. Yes it is a bit larger in size but the quality in the picture is much better and the night vision is really good. The screen is nice and bright or can dim if you leave it on at night like I do. The connection remains stable and haven’t had any issues with it even from across the house. We use many cameras and there has been no interference with this one. The settings are really good on the interface and has many things that can be set and adjusted. I do wish there was a 90 degree tilt option though. The temperature sensor seems to be the only thing that isn’t super accurate. The speaker and microphone are top notch. And the display gets pretty loud with the volume turned up.

This baby monitor is so wonderful! The screen and cameras are high wand don’t lag which I love! The setup was super simple and the best part is no wifi connection is needed to operate. I haven’t tried the split screen as I’ve only hooked up 1 camera. The night vision is crystal clear as well. The lullaby feature is great and soothing. The value is excellent compared with other similar models on the market. This doesn’t have to be used for babies. It can e used for pets (which is what I use it for) and elderly or anyone you need to monitor. I highly recommend this baby monitor!

This monitor is GREAT! I love the double cameras, and the option for a split screen on the monitor to see both. The monitor is a little bulky, but I also have small hands and don't carry it much so it doesn't bother me much. The night vision is great and love that I have the option to turn audio on and off, and talk to my babe. With a toddler and one on the way, this is the perfect setup to maintain some sanity. Great value for the price and I absolutely recommend.

Setting this monitor system was pretty quick and easy without pulling my hair out. Using this system is fairly easy and it has lots of simple controls and settings to choose form that makes this system more productive to operate. This device comes with lots of useful functions and features that makes monitoring our baby safe and secured. This device has beautiful and clear picture quality that I can view with fine details using the high reposition digital zoom. Only downside I find is that the night vision capability is only in black and white but picture clarity is still sharp.

This came with everything you need to monitor your baby. The cords, plug outlets, cameras and screen monitor. It came with good directions that make it easy to setup. I love that there is a setting for music to be played, a split screen for both cameras to be seen together and a nighttime vision setting. I’m sure this will get used a lot!!

Setting them up is very easy. You pretty much just need to plug them in and your ready to go.There are some nice features. Everything from being able to play lullabies, hear what is going on and speak into the room from the monitor pad. The color was a little bit off but considering the resolution it is within tolerance for me.

Really big screen that I appreciate because it’s much better to see, very easy set up. In all actuality I had to put one camera In each kid room because even tho they not babies anymore they frequently mess around with each other and invade each others personal space so i definitely need to keep an eye out on it when im busy with house chores. Great night vision too and I can definitely see who is listening and went to bed and who is roaming around. Decent quality and easy set up, really helpful here.

What my wife and I like:The screen is a decent size, and can be detached from the power cord for portability. The infrared camera works well and we can definitely see our child clearly when they’re sleeping.What we don’t like:The screen is too bright, even on the lowest setting.The buttons don’t glow in the dark or light up, which makes it really difficult to turn down the volume or adjust any other settings in the middle of the night.

If you need a short term monitor this works fine. I have bought 2 of them now because the monitor portion went out on first one. My child is 2 now, we bought a 2nd when it failed, but we had a 2nd child so it wasn't a big deal. Well he turned 1 less than a month ago and now the newer monitor quit working. Might want to invest in more pricey model, but now i have 2 cameras that don't do anything, and rather not waste the money on the third try.

Excellent monitor for the price. My daughter uses it for her baby who's upstairs in our house and she's out back at a bonfire. With no glitches at all and more than 50 ft away

Fantastic little device! Was skeptical with the price but went and bought it anyways. Needless to say this thing massively blows my expectations away. It has a great range of connectivity, I can be all the way out in my pole barn and still see my baby across the street. It's video quality and sound quality are much better than I expected as well. All around great device do not hesitate to buy!

Wife loves it, not much of a delay at all in the live video you can control the camera angle from the monitor as well which is a great feature

We have had this camera for less than a week and I absolutely love it!Super easy to set up right out of box.. although the monitor is on the smaller side, it doesn’t take away from the image or sound quality!

I received a kidsneed baby monitor when I was pregnant with my first born. It did everything we needed it to and it worked fine so when I had my second I decided to look into purchasing a second camera to add to my existing monitor. Purchasing a single camera would cost the same as buying another camera monitor set. I decided to purchase the dual camera and monitor set and would gift my old set to my sibling when they had a baby.After setting up the new set, the temperature is very off. It says it’s 34°F when it is 70°. The camera quality doesn’t seem as good. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good enough that I can see what’s going on in the other room, but it’s strange that it looks like the quality went down. You also have to have the camera rotate every 10 seconds to be able to monitor two kids sleeping which I thought was interesting. I wish you could see both at the same time.I have emailed the customer service department multiple times and they do get back relatively quickly and are helpful.Overall.. it’s an okay baby monitor. It does what you need it to do and it is affordable. If you’re on a tight budget and looking for one this would be a good option for you. Don’t have extremely high expectations because you do get what you pay for.
